About the Peer Assistance Program
The Massachusetts Nurses Association Volunteer Peer Assistance Program is a free, confidential resource for nurses whose lives, health, or careers are affected by alcohol or other drugs. The program connects nurses with volunteer peer assistants who are themselves in recovery and can offer support, understanding, and hope. The program operates independently from the Board of Registration in Nursing and any regulatory or disciplinary agencies.
Project Scope
Human Service Solutions worked with the MNA to develop a complete digital outreach package including a new website, promotional video, and social media content to raise awareness of this critical resource among Massachusetts nurses.
Key Features
The site is designed to make it easy for nurses to take the first step toward getting help. Clear messaging immediately establishes that the program is free, confidential, and not connected to any regulatory body. A prominent phone number and contact form provide multiple ways to reach out. An FAQ section addresses common concerns about confidentiality, program affiliation, and cost. The resources section connects visitors to additional support. The mobile-responsive design ensures nurses can access help from any device.
